Dear, Klairs, the renowned skincare brand by Wishcompany, is solidifying its position as a leading K-Beauty brand in Southeast Asia, topping sales charts at Vietnam's largest H&B store.
Wishcompany (CEO Soungho Park), a global beauty brand and content company, announced on February 5 that Dear, Klairs' "Supple Preparation Unscented Toner" ranked No. 2 across all categories and No. 1 among Korean brands in January at Hasaki, Vietnam's leading health and beauty (H&B) retailer, often compared to Korea's "Olive Young."
Hasaki is a dominant retailer in Vietnam's cosmetics and beauty industry, offering global beauty products through a nationwide network of offline stores and a powerful online platform.
This success is largely attributed to the remarkable rise in brand awareness through TikTok Shop in Vietnam, significantly boosting the sales figures. Since entering Vietnam in 2015, Wishcompany has been dedicated to engaging actively with customers through diverse channels, collaborating with local influencers, and developing compelling content to drive sales with tailored strategies.
A Wishcompany representative stated, “This year, Dear, Klairs will take their local presence to the next level by featuring Vietnamese models, aiming to expand beyond a K-beauty brand and become a top-tier local brand.”
In addition, Wishcompany has been consistently achieving global success, earning the “Outstanding Seller” award among all of the companies participating in the government-funded projects in January from Shopee Korea, Southeast Asia and Taiwan's leading e-commerce platform.
Soungho Park, CEO of Wishcompany, remarked, “This achievement reflects our successful market entry and growth in Southeast Asia. We will continue to focus on elevating the presence of Korean brands in the global beauty markets.”
Wishcompany has also seen impressive growth in overall sales, with a 50% increase in the beauty category through its participation in Shopee Korea's government-funded project. Since entering the Shopee platform in Singapore in 2020, Wishcompany has steadily expanded its presence in Southeast Asia, expanding into the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia.
