Global beauty and contents company Wishcompany (CEO, Park Soung-ho) announced today that its flagship skincare brand, Dear Klairs (hereinafter Klairs), is expanding its offline retail distribution in Japan by entering Hands (formerly Tokyu Hands), one of Japan’s leading lifestyle select stores.

This offline expansion is driven by the explosive demand for Klairs’ Blue Line, including its best-selling soothing ampoule, the Blue Youth Activating Drop (commonly known as 'Blue Drop'). Along with the Blue Drop, major line products such as the Blue Calming Cream and Blue Calming Sheet Mask/Pad will be available across Hands stores nationwide.

The decision to expand offline stems from exceptional performance in Japan’s online market. During a live shopping stream hosted on the 18th of last month with top Qoo10 ambassador Nagi (なぎ), Klairs ranked No. 1 among all participating brands and subsequently rose to No. 1 overall in Qoo10’s Beauty Category.

The broadcast achieved the highest single-stream revenue in Nagi’s history as a top influencer. Notably, the 50ml jumbo limited-edition of the Blue Youth Activating Drop, unveiled in Japan for the first time on the day of the stream, sold out immediately.

First launched in 2017, the Blue Youth Activating Drop is a globally acclaimed low-irritation soothing ampoule available in over 70 countries. Formulated with Guaiazulene and EGF Peptides, its lightweight, watery blue texture absorbs quickly without clogging pores, making it ideal for sensitive and all skin types.

Klairs has continuously solidified its position in Japan’s brightening, Vitamin, and PDRN skincare markets. Starting with 4 major offline channels in 2022—including Shop-In, Tokyu Hands, Plaza, and Loft—Klairs expanded its Vitamin PDRN line to Loft, Plaza, and Don Quijote following an online pre-launch on Qoo10 in 2025.

By leveraging the established offline foundation of its Vitamin Line (such as the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop), Klairs is now introducing its low-irritation soothing Blue Line to broaden its product portfolio and deepen customer engagement across Japan.

"Following our success in the Japanese brightening skincare segment with the Vitamin line, we are thrilled to expand our low-irritation soothing Blue Line into physical retail stores," said a representative from Wishcompany. "We aim to translate the brand trust built online into offline growth, ultimately enhancing our brand awareness and competitive edge in the Japanese market."

Moving forward, Dear Klairs plans to continue diversifying its distribution channels in Japan, seamlessly rolling out products proven in online channels into offline markets.
